Minghao Xu is a Ph.D. student in Building Performance & Diagnostics (PhD-BPD) at Carnegie Mellon University. He earned his Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and his Bachelor of Architecture from Southeast University in Nanjing, China. Minghao has a strong background in performance-driven design, with a particular interest during his Ph.D. in occupant-centric research and the application of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, IOT and digital twins in building optimization.
