Ana Montes is a process improvement consultant with over 20 years of experience in banking software development, government finance and engineering consulting. She specializes in optimizing processes, enhancing quality assurance, and managing projects using Agile methodologies. Her work has consistently improved team performance and systems efficiency to meet the evolving business and technological needs of organizations.
She serves as the Special Projects Coordinator at Carnegie Mellon Architecture, focusing on workflow improvement and coordinating the annual PJ Dick Innovation Fund Faculty Grants Program.
Ana holds a master’s degree in IT Management from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (U.N.E.D.), Spain, a Ph.D. Advanced Studies Diploma in Information Technology from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, Venezuela.
