This course introduces basic material assembly methods and the use of shop machinery, hand tools, and power tools. It prepares students to participate in a wide range of subsequent building and fabrication projects. The course aims to build confidence and safe work habits while demystifying the interactions between tools and physical materials.

This is a mini offered in many sections. The M/W times are offered for both Mini 1 and Mini 2. The T/Th section is typically only offered in Mini 2.
