Carnegie Museum of Art, Heinz Architectural Center

Accompanying the Carnegie Museum of Art exhibition “Tatiana Bilbao Estudio: City of Rooms,” the Heinz Architectural Center and the Remaking Cities Institute at Carnegie Mellon Architecture is hosting a series of gallery talks on domesticity and the city.

How does architecture define the relationship between the individual, community and society? How can we design neighborhoods and cities that foster a sense of place and belonging? And how do the domestic spaces we inhabit add up to more than the sum of the parts that constitute a city?
